Virtue Books is located at 20 Hurstmere Road, Takapuna, Auckland. The owner and General Manager is Philip McCabe assisted by two staff members.

Virtue Books has been serving the hospitality industry of New Zealand for over 30 years and is a unique company offering a service and distribution method that is not available anywhere else in New Zealand. This has been the hallmark of their success.

Their experience meeting the specific needs of those in the hospitality industry, together with their experience of following the trends in the market; working closely with publishers both in New Zealand and overseas to keep themselves and their customers abreast of new developments. This enables savings in selection time, and unit cost of our customers.

Virtue Books also provides text books to a number of Polytechnics and training institutions throughout New Zealand

Virtue Books has a strong association with the Hospitality Standards Institute, Hospitality Association of New Zealand, New Zealand Chef Association and HETTANZ and is seen in most cases as their preferred book supplier. Most recently they were invited to attend the WACS Congress in Auckland.
